Mtymous is right if you don't have the rest of the car running correctly and within specs you will be throwing money away and the problem may still exist just like the throttle cable.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

You asked a serious question in the first post. Which was answered in the first response.
Why go to the 90mph BS?

Edit: Wasn't it just this past week when you said that the poor Mini was shaking so badly that you couldn't drive at a safe speed?
I must have missed the post where you somehow magically fixed that.......

clearly, zip and mightmouse under estimates the power of classic minis....  stop  that!! the purist will uproar!!

I'd love to see a VVS video of this car doing 90mph sustained for 10 minutes. I'm very serious. I'd watch all 10 minutes. Actually. I'll tell you exactly which fan you need to buy, where to buy it from, and what the cheapest price is. I'll send you a wiring diagram, and give you my phone number to call me at to ask questions... if you can post a video of your car driving 90mph sustained for at least 1 minute. And the speed needs to be GPS verified as well.

I'm not saying that just to be a jerk. I had cooling issues when I lived in West Texas and once I fixed my timing, my A/F mixture, and flushed the system... fixed.

All of them will work if you fix the rest of your car.
