Did any of the shells have titles?  Otherwise maybe they would be better served as being cut up for repairing structual parts or trailers etc.

I'm in a bad way for mk1 doors. Can't see the ride but has me thinking. I have a trailer and move minis often. Might want to set up a monthly run up or down coast moving things around. Are the MM FD s the same as Sprite? I recall racers looking for morris minor P/U rear gears 4.80 or something along those lines. Steve (CTR)

The original window latches are probably more valuable than anything. There are four of them, even though the photo just shows one pair. I think the rear wagon doors are salvageable as well. Someone in the area may be able to make a good deal. He has a final drive for my Morris, so I will be back up there in a month or two.

Is there any parts that are hard to come by or really expensive left with these cars? I would imagine that if there were all these cars sitting rotting away than there are probably parts for them sitting around rotting away too.

Also was thinking that the wagons could be used to make a couple of trailers.

I once found a pair of Woodies in southern Ontario (around 1996)... both were melting into a farmers field.  Floors didn't exist.  At the time I think he wanted a couple hundred each... should have at least got them for the parts!... (damn hind sight...)

Many times I have encountered folks with Minis just sitting around going back to nature and won't sell because they say if they hold on to them for awhile they will be worth a fortune...yeah right.  Almost always they sit on them until they are of no value at all.  Shame.

Judging by the depth of the leaves and pine needles around the green one there probably will be nothing left from the floor to 6 inches up.

Found this stash of Mini parts while on the hunt for Morris Minor parts. These body shells are past saving. The rear doors of the wagon are worth saving. There are 5 doors stored inside a barn. They are in very poor shape. Frank wants $100 for all five doors. Two have Cooper trim. There is a complete set of early window latches. Those are sold separately. Parts are near Asheboro, NC. Contact Frank Lawson 336-861-1418.
