99H 998:  I'm trying to track down a significant oil leak that looks to be coming from behind the water pump bypass hose between the head & block.  Is there an oil passage from the block to the head near there?

I was gonna re-torque the head (& adjust valves) & see if that helps but when removing the rocker cover the left stud/rocker shaft pedestal stud unscrewed from the head.  Will that cause any problems if I simply refit (and then adjust valves)?   I re-torqued the head without the pedestal stud in place.  What's the proper procedure to reinstall the rocker shaft pedestal stud?
