John is very responsive and I have purchased a number of items from him. He even had the records of what I had purchased several years ago when I could not find them.
The first mistake I made when I was trying match was that I did not know there are different diameters for the combinations of gears. John provided a "matched" set.

If you don´t find it "locally" 2nd hand, guessworks have them reproduced and, as far as i know, are the only suplier at the moment...

Using the calculator on the Guessworks web site, a a 6/16 combination will get me pretty close to an accurate speedo indication with a 3.1 final drive on ten inch tires and a TPM of1248. Does anyone have a 16 tooth driven gear for the speedo? The part number is DAM2905.
