The SC's do work, but not for 100K miles... But SC's are easy to find used, and a doddle to change, so no biggie.

A great price all said and done...

It's been fun, but this place is done. I have no hatred, and appreciate the good times. But this place now belongs to Tony and his pink mini.

Looks like a Rad Start to me!  Looks a little worn so who knows the overall condition .. If inspecting i would for sure get a leak down / Compression test.

thats a BMW - Supercharger- there are many confliciting reports of it be ing OK to run 'SUCK THRU' Where the fuel is sucked thru the supercharger if its good or not... Apparently the vanes have a coating that wear ' or increased wear because of the suck thru... The setup works - is common way to boost.
Lots of infor on Turbomini's. //www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php

Ide say since its all there- its a great start - even if you have to rebuild this or that-  it could be a screamer!
