It's something I've wondered about, and will suggest it to Dave next time I see him.  Hinge the front as well and it's a very practical bit of bling.

I understand that it wasn't Alex i just commented it would be nice if it had that feature wit hthe front edge lower as the whole top opens up anyway. Personally i don't see the need for the whole top to open to add oil unless of course you have some bling rockers to show off :-)

It would have been more useful for valve adjustment if the front edge of it was lower (like the old Metro ones with the orange caps) so as to make valve adjustment easier without removing the cover completely.

looks tall, it really fit under the bonnet?

It looks like a hassle to adjust the valves with just the "lid" opened, and if so, then what's the benefit of that feature?

A cork gasket glued to the valve cover has worked wonderfully well for years and years (for me anyway, on two different A series), if you replace the cork when it wears out, about every 10 years or so, so other than the "neat-o" bling factor, not sure what problems this thing actually solves...

With squidgy o-rings as seals it shouldn't ever leak either.

(Put it on a Mini and leakage... eventually..... is pretty much guaranteed.)

Love the bling factor though.

Looks like you'd be able to adjust the valves....with the right set of angled gauges

Big DSN fan, nice looking cover, but what do you gain ? You can not adjust valves without removing the cover, breather is hidden (kind of cool) and you can add oil without taking an ugly oil cap off.

Cool, but $500 cool ? I'm not seeing it.

This could be the most expensive rocker cover ever. Pretty cool concept.
