You need to inspect the head, possibly have it magnafluxed to check for cracks.  What to pay - how much are they asking for it? Look at the price for ported heads to give you an idea as to what a new one would go for ($1,000 - 2,000).  From the questions you are asking it looks like you have found the complete car in an auto salvage or someone parting it out.  If this is the case you have several ways of looking at it.  How much for the car, or engine/transmission, or engine/transmission/driveshafts/brakes - i.e. how much for a package deal or deal for just the parts you want.  Other than your profile showing an American flag it does not show where you are located.

Looks like a small bore head from the heater take off orientation.

If it's a head from the 1000 kit they offered, I would sure as heck use it.  I imagine it will have larger intake valves fitted, and worked chambers and ports.

Those look like regular sintered rockers....If you can find a set of pressed steel ones, I believe they have a higher lift ratio.

You have multiple posts going on heads and brakes you may want to delete a couple and keep it simple. simple. To answer your question it depends on whether that is a large bore 1275 head or not, take a picture of the heater take off valve or the casting number under the rocker shaft.
