Sue and Lee are super nice folks, and I'm glad I could help out.  I'm confident they will get it fixed and make it up to MMW and back home!

I just talked to Lee a few minutes ago.  Problems with the tow company have them in Cloverdale awaiting a second tow, but they hope to get farther up the road tonight, and then Sue's brother will come down from Eureka and tow them on up there.

Craig, Lee is very, very grateful for your help.  And amazed at the support system that Spank has activated.

I saw them going north on the 101 yesterday. Small world. 

They just left my house with a new head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, a spare head in case theirs has an major issues, and front brake pads.  They were planning to stay in Crescent City for a few days at her brother's house, and he owns an auto repair shop, so they decided to use their AAA+ and have the car towed up there rather than replace the head gasket at my house, end up staying the night in Santa Rosa, etc.  I did a leak down test, and cylinders 1 & 2 have zero compression.  No coolant loss.   #s 3 and 4 were good.

I hope the rest of their journey is less eventful!
