Don't need the guages, but I'll take the cowling they sit with the chrome triming. Will send you email.

Confirmed by Nick. Mk II Cooper speedometer based on SN number and just the looks. The 1408 TPM is a bit strange though. The Mk II Coopers should have been running radial tires, not bias ply as indicated by the 1408.

I may have an interest in the hydro displacers if someone could please identify their original application based upon the color of their banding.

If my memory is correct, that would make the speedometer a Mk II Cooper made for a 3.765 final drive. I'll see if I can get Nick to confirm. He's Mr. Speedometer!
Thanks for all the help. Any ideas on what the bags and binnacle are worth?

Bill, Post the part numbers for the speedo. That might help sell the pod. Look for a number starting SN and a little to the right of that one a four digit number.

As above, all those parts are worth keeping or selling. They are not scrap by any means.
Zooming in on the speedometer face it looks like the gauge is calibrated for 1408 turns per mile.

I sold the same binnacle with guages for $130 recently......but with a 95mph speedo....that 105mph should be worth a bit more

TTT - Definately worth something - heck, the speedo and gauges alone, not to mention the hydro bags.
There are always guys looking for an extra hydro bag -

Is it worth anything? I also have a set of hydro bags I'd to get rid of if they have any value.
