1979 so nothing extra other than a stereo.

Get the G/F a pre evolution (was it ?) Harley and have the same experience for free :-0

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

that's cool man... glad it worked out for ya...

i'm just say n ...you tapped into a circuit that you know nothing about whats on it and what it's powering... some circuits don't like that... air bag circuit , pats sys. , ecu..ect ect...

as far as sexual devices and harley's go...this is what i installed on mine for my girls.. n they love it..

so you just grab a wire from the steering column , tap into it , put a 25amp fuse inline and call it good???

what gauge wire are you tapping into ?? will that gauge wire support a 25amp load ??  what else is on the wire circuit ???  will there be sexual Appliances used ..???

   ????   i don't like it.....

brother boison might chime in and help....

Yep that's what i did on the advice from an auto electrician but i lied after checking it has a 10 amp fuse in it. What the wire powered i don't know he said use it with a fuse so i did and with the same gauge wire, still working fine 4 years later.

Sexual devices ???? unless you call the vibration from the Mini front seats sexual (kinda similar to a Harley sitting at a red light) then no, you should know Willie Duracells are the way to go ;-).....
