No they used a regualr Mini boot cover found on deluxe and Coopers i think (1/4" ply covered with vinyl would work) or just regular hardboard screwed to the outer edges of the boot lid (reinforcing bars) with about a dozen or more chrome or stainless self tappers. The tools where then placed where they wanted them and held in place with spring clips. Sorry no pics.

If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Some of the rally Mini's had their tools mounted on the back shelf. Big Al had a Britax replica with tools mounted to the inside of the boot lid on a flexible boot lid board with spring clips, it looked neat and tidy.

Oh me too Dan but I want to keep this amp rack home on October 11 SD British car Day. I'm sure the two 500amp amplifiers and subwoofer won't go with the 60's rally look I'm trying to have hehe.

Oh I dunno.... I like to keep tools in the boot so they don't end up in the back of my head.

But the Mini would fit in it.

Willie must have some big tools: 10 feet wide x 18 feet long x 14 feet high?. Not gonna fit in a Mini.

There are also some nice ones on Etsy, and they can do custom ones.
