If you have a part #, I have a number of cases and covers.  I'm in NY but will ship it if I have what you need.

Cupcake, Kevin and Jemal,

Many thanks for the education!

If anyone has one they'll let go, say the word.

Regards,

Chris

The four synchro type will be much more common to have a vent. You'll end up using two different idler bearings, as the housing will use the larger OD 13H7848 idler bearing, and the 333 box will use the 88G302.

If you have a mechanical fuel pump blanking plate, this kit is VERY effective as a second or third vent... I've machined blanked of Sprite blocks to allow installing it as there IS no flywheel housing to vent!

Not counting A+ boxes, there are 3 basic versions of the vented flywheel housing:

Late 3 synchro? (1.000" OD idler bearing).

Common 4 synchro remote housing (1-1/16" OD caged idler bearing)

Rodchange pre-A+ housing, same as above but has a cast-in stop for the selector rod. Can also be used on 4 synchro remote box.

NOTE: Check there is no binding of either the idler shaft or the 1st motion shaft, when both dowels are in. Dowel locations can vary a bit.

I  put one on my ex-S. AFAIK they're all the same. If you have a servo you'll have to bend the oil separator cannister to make it fit. If you find a cover you'll probably have to drill out the passage way.

I'm assembling a vintage sc/cr 3 synchro box and want to vent the motor as much as I can.  But I don't know when the breather version of the clutch housing was introduced, which cars it came on, etc.  Any education is appreciated, not to mention if anyone has an old spare housing w/breather they might let go?  Even without the breather can as I lucked into one recently...
