We all know that trailer HAULS and transports heavy things, manufacturers wont make trailer tires which cannot withstand the weight of it's load, come on! If you dont have shock absorbers then maybe you need to think twice in using teailer tires.

Besides all the other things wrong with using trailer tires, the tread pattern is all wrong for steering, acceleration and braking, and the rubber compound is probably just as wrong. Trailer tires are intended to work passively, just following along (with braking on larger trailers).

Trailer tires are not 70 series but either 75 or 80 series which are taller. As well as all the other resons mentioned they will rub on turns and will rub on the radius arm brackets and look stupid.

And 8" tires??  When normal minis run 10"

No. Google why you shouldn't, do a search here why you shouldn't. Trailer tires are for trailers, car tires are for cars, also most trailer tires in the 12" size are bias-ply. This subject has been beaten to death on this forum. 
Question; you're careening down the highway and exit and the tire blows because it's loaded totally different than its intended use and you destroy only your mini and no one else was it worth it to buy cheap trailer tires? 

Yes, that's what i use now on my mini, and its holding up really good. And its a real eyecatcher and chick magnet. Once in a while i switch them with my original ATS wheels when going on rough road,but normally i use 8 inch trailer wheels in city cruising.

I got the car finally from Japan and the tires that came with it were manufactured in 1992. First test drive and sure enough the driver front side has blown. Size is 145/70/12. The size is the same as trailer tires that I can get for 25$ each. Why not use trailer tires? They are meant to support a lot more than the weight that a mini cooper would bear down on it. They are also designed and suitable to be able to go above 60mph or 70 or 80 etc mph. So give me a good reason why I shouldnt use a trailer tire?
