Ahhh, Gilroy California! Garlic capital of the world! That's the town's motto and I believe it. As soon as you get close you can smell the garlic in the fields. Nice town if you like the smell of fresh garlic.

If you find a decent Moke, just throw it on your trailer, cash waiting

Reminds me of an event 6-7 years ago when l bought an OZ Moke ,sight unseen in Gilroy California, l had Hugh pick it up and bring it to Buffalo NY for me but enroute he phoned me and told me he had a buyer in Oak Ridge TN,never did get to see that Moke until years later-l think l gave Hugh a case of Dr Pepper for his efforts-

Couple of folks expressed interest in me hauling something back, but nothing firm yet. One California to Ohio and another California to Maryland. Hopefully one of them will pull the trigger. Other than that, any other potential hauls? Leaving for Texas soon.

I certainly vouch for Hughs' ability to haul minis or whatever, he has hauled classic minis for me and my customers from east to west and back again

Never had a problem, always delivered as promised and at a most reasonable price-

Now if you want to go upscale and use commercial , enclosed like Passmore ,Reliable or Mackie be prepared to pay at least 3 times what Hugh charges-

Plus, Hugh knows minis and any mini related problems enroute Hugh has it covered

Keep on trucking Hugh aka Dr Mini

FWIW, I will be traveling from San Antonio, TX to California empty if someone needs something moved in that direction.

There's still a significant Mini Marcos project that needs a new owner. I'm tired of storing it for the widowed owner.

If anyone wants a caged "race ready-ish" LeMons car, I am thinning my herd. Keeping the race moke (unless someone really really wants to buy it-- has title and most of the stock moke parts to rebuild it) and the Austin America.

The 62 Mini will be handed off to another member of SDMinis for them to pull a stint as "keeper of the crapcan."

Of the 7 other cars, price is something we can discuss. And while they are $500 racecars, they all have a lot of $ thrown at them (budget exempt safety items) that dont' factor into the $500 rule.

These are caged cars that have passed tech more than once, but aren't really "race-prepped" in terms of fine-tuning, perfect suspension dialed in, etc. They are $500 cars with lots of spares and a roll cage.

86 Yugo GV (with a complete 85 Yugo GV of mechanical parts-- suspension, engine, 2 transmissions), Hyundai Excel (with spare running motor and trans and other ancillaries) Harley-Powered Prius (with spare sportster motor and various other engine parts including the basket case donor Harley motorcycle) and possibly even a caged but otherwise stock 85 MG metro. All cars have US titles.

Conversely, Hugh, I intend to head to MSR Houston Nov. 11-13. I could conceivably bring your trailer out to you that far. Or I could perhaps be convinced to offer free delivery on any of the LeMons cars between SD and Houston.

Yes, still in California.  I am delivering a Moke to Texas for Big Al, then I am off to California to retrieve the trailer.  Do you have something that needs to come back from California?  Let me know.

Back in June I left my trailer in California so that I could transport a boat that I had promised to haul for a friend. When I agreed to move the boat it was supposed to fit on my trailer. Upon arrival it turned out to be 4' longer than my trailer plus it had a trailer with a long tongue. Rather than go back on my word I left my trailer instead. Well, now I am ready to go after my trailer and need to find something for the haul back. I'm flexible on dates and pick up locations as I will be in northern California as well as southern California. Prefer hauling Minis but will take anything that will fit on the trailer. Except BOATS!
