I believe they are exactly the same except for the water temp sensor hole.

Anyone got a quick rundown of what the differences are between the 2A628 and the 2A629 head? I've got a rebuilt 2A629 head with a few thousands miles on it and a Riley with a 2A628 head that seems to be suffering from valve recession. I'd love to hear that I could take a few hours and swap them across and only have to deal with the water temperature sensor tap, but don't want to tear my ride down and then have to mail order something.
