Provided they offered this engine size in your clubman, you should 
be able to complete the mechanical swap pretty easily. Having over 20 years of high level BMW service, repair and sales, I'm sure it would require an engine control module swap that's compatible with 
your other existing modules. 

Fortunately, there are a handful of reputable companies, which I've 
used several times, that can completely whipe and reprogram used
ecms to your requirements and coded to communicate with the car,
plug and play. Considering almost everyone you ask will say an 
ecm is not reprogramable for another vin#, they carry almost no
used value and can be bought inexpensivly. Their process requires 
you ship them your body control module and keys. They provide the 
Ecm core, or you can send them one. They ship the entire set back 
within a week, coded to each other and ready to plug in. The process costs under 500 if they provide the ecm.

We are parting a hard to find 2013 Mini Cooper S TURBO sport coupe.
The car had a engine wiring harness fire so most underhood plastics on the left side and rear are damaged. Engine, transmission, all accessory pumps are ok.
Otherwise the entire car is nearly flawless. We are offering every major assembly for sale; complete front ( has some heat damage) rear body clip with or without roof clip, complete turbo S leather interior with all airbags and entertainment/ convienence systems, all suspension components, two perfect door assemblies, rear hatch assy, four good sport wheels with nearly new blizzak tires and everything else.

We are not splitting up the large assemblies to sell minor
components off of. Eg, a center console switch or door panel. We will break down an interior for an entire dash assembly or the Turbo engine as a long block assy with no accessory drives.
