On Your Way To NCA? Here's a MAP

We would like to invite all Mini enthusiasts to our 8th annual Nevada City Adventure, set for May 16th from 8 am until approximately 5 pm, located in the heart of the scenic and beautiful gold country. This year’s event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the British classic mini cooper. As a way to celebrate and show our appreciation to all mini owners attending, classic and new, we are providing a free lunch at the event. Along with all of the fun events, we will also offer special sale prices on parts and accessories though out the day.

Every year, the staff at Mini Mania delights in helping a charitable group, and with the difficult economic times upon us, we thought supporting our local food bank and sponsoring a food drive would be a great way to help our community. We know Mini owners have a big heart when it comes to lending a helping hand. So this year we would ask if you could bring one grocery bag of non perishable food to the event where it will be collected and distributed by the Inter Faith food bank in our local area.(suggestions are: cereal, soup, canned goods, etc.) We thank you in advance for your participation and support.

 This year, we are going to set up a Funkana course; a fun event that will test your driving skills with your hand and eye coordination, as well as team work.  Bring your folding lawn chairs, it’s a lot of fun to watch and participate!

We suggest you make reservations well in advance for lodging in Grass Valley or Nevada City if you plan on an overnight stay, due to the popularity of Nevada City and the surrounding communities at that time of year.

Free Drawing for Dyno Testing At Mini Mania

Come and join your friends at the 8th Annual Nevada City Adventure, May 16th and enter a Free drawing to have your Mini/MINI Cooper tested on a Dyno!

The Nevada City Adventure is a great annual event , this year in support of the “California Food Bank”!  The event  this year include a ‘people’s choice’ car show, a ‘Funkana’, Socializing, Local driving tour, Free Lunch AND the opportunity to have your Mini/MINI Cooper tested on a Dyno!

Arrive at the event between 8 and 11am and you can enter for the free drawing to have your car tested on the Dyno.  We will also be doing video recordings of all Dyno runs for your own story.
Dyno testing is like a ‘great dream’! Lots of us talk about them but how many people can really live them! Proving our metal is often equated to ‘dreaming’ about demonstrating how good we are by how much horsepower we can buy for our steed of choice. “How big is your dream” can be a great experience at the Nevada City Adventure.

Northern Queen Inn - 265-5824. A 10-minute walk to Mini Mania, and a short drive/long walk to downtown Nevada City. Restaurant on the premises.

Best Western Gold Country - 273-1393. Next stop up the freeway from Mini Mania (ask us for the twisty backroad route!)

Two Room Inn - 265-3618. At the top of Broad Street in the heart of downtown Nevada City.

Outside Inn - 265-2233. Usually caters to the "mountain bike" crowd, in a residential area of downtown Nevada City.

National Hotel - 265-4551. The oldest continuously-operating hotel in California (or hearabouts, anyway). In the heart of downtown Nevada City.

Holbrooke Hotel - 273-1353. Another historic Gold Rush hotel in nearby Grass Valley.

Golden Chain Motel -273-7279. At the south end of Grass Valley, you'll have a 10 minute (or less) drive to Mini Mania and Nevada City.
