I dont drive my mini over 90 degree days. " too hot to ride in the box " i have other cars with AC. I have always had an issue... temps climb when sitting in traffic, but easily pull down when moving. SO im more curious if this will help that issue. Push more air at idle, but doubtful. The only concern I have now, is wil the fan stil be close enough to the radator like it should, or does fliping it change the spacing... Time to go put it back together and find out. Hope this helps some people out, and can use this to identify their fans direction. Really if you look closely at the blades.. they do have sort of a cup to them but thats too complicated. Smooth side to the Engine... Goodluck

Make you check for proper alignment or you'll be going through several of those yellow things.

Get it as close to the radiator as possible, some Mini's have a spacer to help achieve that the blades should not protrude past the shroud.

Backwards or forwards radiator fans.. how confusing.
After readiing too many threads, Looking at too many pictures. I went out to my car, and found. that WOW.. my fan compares to a few other pictures of being BACKWARDS... not having the proper side facing the engine . or the radator.
