I end up just cutting the screen To make way for the fan under the wheel well fender area. I left the cowling and shroud alone since they look ok.

I knew that (as the Fonze used to say). I was responding moe generally to Malsal's post... "50/50 is too strong of a mix in Mini's...".   He's flying the Union Jack of the UK and apparently is in Orlando Florida - neither location typically gets the cold that needs 50/50 mix.

I end up grinding the bolts with a Dremel to make it shorter and the clips finally took them. It's hot out here but it's not gonna stop me. My army pancho is saving my skin right now.

If you are moving the inner shroud, take a look at the one piece as Malcom said.

I just bought a radiator and the bolts supplied were longer than the ones I have been using, so I used the old.

I thought I had a photo or two of a one piece, but I cannot find them.

The Coventry radiator's screw u-fastener/ retaining clips are flimsy. The machine head screw I got matching it isnt well built compared to the original radiator I had. Maybe I can go on another trip to Marshall's hardware or homedepot to find a better short screw for it. I'm very close to ditching this route and just construct my own radiator brackets to attach the shroud since I'm removing the cowling anyway to give way to attaching the cooling fan directly on the opposite side to pull hot air out. I saw Jemal's youtube video of his mini that has a removable radiator cowling and I'd like to have something like that too. Maybe he can post pictures of it so some of us can make one.

50/50 is too strong of a mix in Mini's as antifreeze lowers the boiling point of water, you just need enough (a small amount) to keep corrosion at bay.

It depends on where you live and more imprtantly where your Mini lives. If you get freezing temperatures in the winter, you want to mix according to how cold it might get - instructions are usually on the jug. Here it can get to -40 C or F (take your pick). I have driven Minis at around -25F... below that things tend to get stiff and brittle. Dress warmly... even the "Canadian heater" gives up around there.

It looks like one that came on our Traveller about 10 years ago. It also has the Coventry label on it.

It had a rebuild tag on it from somewhere in SoCal, but was still working until we took the car off the road.

Then start acting like a mature, responsible adult. Write with respect, using the best English you know, leaving out sexual inuendo, racial, homophobic or mysogenistic slurs or insults. Take the time to spell words properly and not use 'shortcuts' with intentional or unintentional crude puns.

Before you write, as a wise person once said "Engage brain before speaking." Think about what you read, think about what you want to say, read over what you write -all before hitting "post".

You call yourself a Christian. As a Christian, I politely suggest you start acting like one.

Treat people the way you would treat your church pastor or maybe "our Lord Jesus Christ" (as you wrote). If you call yourself a Christian, then you should know that Christ said to expect him in everyone you meet and treat them as you would Him. Talk to your Pastor about Matthew 25:37-40.

See also Titus 3:10-11 "As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned."

Yep. about your "nature". Needs work, more than your Mini.

I think she "left it" long ago when she wrote "Whatever"

Respect is earned. But I doubt you understand that concept.

Even if she had accepted your apology YOU are the one that crossed the line again with your reference to San Francisco.

Nothing wrong with being a minority. You are the one that makes it sound like a big deal. With that kind of upbringing and behavior in the threads, Im not surprised why you would react like that.
