You made this post a while back. I was just wondering where is this A/C kit for sale and is there a pdf guide for the installation.

Thank you

The Jap spec Mini's came with a Unicla compressor which could be replaced with a Sanden with minor modifications to the mounting bracket. the Sanden compressor is a bit larger around. This kit might work on MPI if it has a V belt drive but if I remember correctly the MPI Mini's have a multi groove belt drive and those with a/c have the compressor mounted in the fender well. I believe those compressors run backwards. By the way Unicla went out of business several years ago.

If it is the same compressor as the factory Jap spec ones (Sanden i believe) you are incorrect in your assumption dt. It was covered in a thread a while back and all i can tell you is drive a Jap spec Mini and see for yourself.

I second the request for a look at the instructions. The belt tensioner system does look to be specific for an application. If this is known to work on Minis, I'm sure it will sell fast. If it works on an MPI engined, I might buy it myself. Thanks.

By the length of those hoses i would say the condenser mounts under the trunk floor. Is it a kit built specifically for a Mini ? Are there instructions ?

INteresting looking kit. Is it for "A" or "A+" blocks? It also appears to not have an idle bump like the JDM kits.
