Thanks a lot Miniestate,

Eventually I'll get to do the Traveller/Countryman brochures, All of them have beautiful images.

Well, I started with most of the easy ones to scan and print on pdf.

The problem lies in the size of the brochures. The ones in A4 or letter size are not a problem as they fit in the scanner. But for example, this brochure:

It is wider than the scanner, for each page I have to scan twice, then stich each page.

Or in the case of the image on the side, I have to scan 6 images, then stich them together into one. To do that brochure in pdf, I can easily spend 30-45 minutes to get it ready. I worked all afternoon from 1 to 7, only to make 10 brochures today.

The idea is to get them all scanned. It will just take time.

Now, if anyone has some brochures lying around and want to donate them to my collection, I will be happy to accept them, scan them and make them available to everyone.

Yeah, that one is an interesting one.

Long story short, most export models were called 850 up to 1962. That extended to the Cooper, despite being a 997.

With the adoption of the Mini name for all the range, the 850 was dropped.

Being unemployed has left me with too much time in my hands.

For a few weeks now, I have been working on the task of making PDFs of my Mini brochure collection and making them available on my website www.MinipassionMini.com

It's not an easy task, specially when images need to be stiched, or the brochures are larger than the scanner. But I'm getting there. The idea is to at some point have them all available.

You can take a look at:

Let me know what you think?

Regards,

Miguel
