I've finaly saved up enough money to be able to do more on my mini.  I just dropped it off to have paint and body work done, plus bought new seals and bumpers.  Plus just scored some Paddy Hopkirk seats off of ebay that I'm hoping will be a direct bolt on item.  They look comfy, though I'm expecting they'll need to be re-padded and/or apholstered.  Supposedly there is one small rip, but if they're really in good shape I might mend the tear and reuse the covers.  The old seats hurt me so bad that I could barely walk after an hour's drive, so these high backed seats will be a major improvement!

Grass?...almost forgotten what it looks like ( I didn't see the "off" part of the thread title )

You're in BC?...did the US march in there and take over?...where's you maple leaf man... ;-)

No MINI projects for me over the winter.....no heat in the shop. We did hit +10 today however, so went out and dug through to do some work on an MG

Sorry to hear about than "snow" stuff. Like in Camalot, snow is banished from Vancouver Island. Have been mowing the lawn now for a month, cherry blossoms are almost all gone & we have had a crew installing an in-ground sprnkler system for the last week. As far as the Mini goes, installed new fuel in the petrol tank and used most of it up last Sunday in a long drive. BTW, no frost heaves here either.

They're machined stainless threaded covers. I got them from Minismiffy in the UK he makes a bunch of cool ss bits for the car. I got the ss master cylinder cover from him too plus a bunch of other bolt on shiny bits, his name is Mark, great guy, contact him direct so he doesn't pay the ebay fees.

Glad it's all done, time to ride.......   Need to get to McGee's to see his toy's in Arnold

Holy crap I seriously have dashpot envy. Time to polish.

People are probably bored to death of seeing these pictures, but so far I have completed...

New carpet finally! Haven't had carpet in it since last November. Fabricated new switch panel, center console, liquid sound deadener on floors with eastwood black/aqua speckle paint, edead on sides panels. Can't forget the Mini T full length rear bumper I finally got!

Then fabricated bigger rear turrets, raised rear wheel well on outside to be flat. Fabricated the front Airlift mounts on the front. Plumbed in a simple air management and ran 1/4" lines to everything. 7.5 cooper s disc brakes, after going from drum to 8.4's, now back to 7.5's for the first time so I could run some 10" potenza knock offs.

Still in the box to do, rhb 32 turbo, sc 5 port injection, paint block, do a wire tuck in the engine compartment, weld up some small odds and ends... and then I should be good to go... for a while... this year.... or summer...

Other than that, I got too many other Mini's to work on, need to unload 2 cabrio's (Kieth Convertibles Conversion), and the blue Mini from New Zealand. The 61 is almost done, kinda... going in for a respray soon, and currently getting interior reupholstered.

My Mini's latest improvement came as more of a necessity than a planned upgrade but after warping the stock superbrake rotors at Thunderhill this winter it was time for cross-drilled and slotted rotors!

Hoping for no more warping and better breaking.

What are your latest upgrades?
