Mine is now installed. I reversed the rear exhaust hanger, bent it a little and made a bracket so it would fit on the inside of the rear frame. Then the bar would fit in the back.

I needed to use the competition rear exhaust hanger in order to drop the exhaust a tad.  My install was the C-AJJ4009, but very similar to your C-AJJ4008 in the blade/bar design.  My kit was missing the 7mm spacers, so a short stack of washers did the job until I changed some of my engine steady bushes.  I cut an old bush sleeve and made a very nice pair of 'proper' spacers.  The anti-roll bar totally transformed the ride.

Your link was very helpful. I tried fitting mine forward, but the exhaust is longer than the one in the picture. I think if I re-hang the rear exhaust in a different way, I can get it to fit in the rear.

Ah, your bar goes forward, I did not think of that since the instructions had it going toward the back. I will try that and spacers.

On some Minis you have to install small spacers where the bar mounts to the subframe.  These aid in adding more clearence between the exhaust and the sway bar.

The Healey has a bad leg. With that blow out of the tire, I decided to buy new tires for the car. they are 6-7 years old and a side wall blow out scares me. I did take the Triumph TR3A out for a Club Wine tasting tour yesterday. The day was a little warm, but I kept the top up and it was not too bad till 3PM. Then, I sure wished I had air conditioning. Maybe the mini would have been a cooler choice. It should be running in a few weeks.

Jerry I think a picture of your gorgeous Healey is required before anyone will respond

Edited:  pic from MM Nevada City Adventure 2014.  What a stunner.

//www.minimania.com/part/C-AJJ4008/Rear-Adjustable-3-4-Anti-Roll---Sway-Bar_mini-Cooper--S. I bought this sway bar but the bar cannot go in front of the rear cross bar since the battery box is in the way. Under or behind the rear cross bar seems to interfere with the exhaust system. Can someone give me some advice on how to get around this problem? This is a Non-hydrolastic car now.

PS: We got the rear seat installed, rear quarter windows, and the rear window today. Starting to look like a car! That rear window locking strip is a royal pain. Defiantly a technique to using the tool to get the lock piece in the rubber.

By the way, the rubber for the front windshield came with the car. It is NOT black, more a greyish color with white spots and strips all over the rubber. I could not get it cleaned with cleaner or wax. Anyone have ideas how to clean this or will it require replacement??
