So colour leaps back into the mix, where I'm at a disadvantage.

and I always thought it was Platinum (not silver).  More valuable than Gold!

I'm a little colour blind so it just hit me...imagine what the Mini wiring is like.

When I left the board for a little over 5 years my log in was lost or discarded. Needless to say I have a fairly large post count. When I returned and started posting next thing I know I have a bunch of gold stars and a very small post count. I kind of liked the way they looked. Not paying to much attention to the little stars I noticed people I respect for their efforts and knowledge might have only a couple of the gold stars. By the same token I noticed several people with a rack of gold starts not that on top of ths subject. At that time I figured they are not that important. Then the day I had a little dust up on the board with someone. I was not aware that one of the posts there was my 2000th post. At which poing all those gold stars stop being gold. They then call you a gold member just no gold in your stars. I had a hard time getting soemone to explain this to me. The only reply was it may have something to do with your total post count. Totally irrelevant...but how does someone with just over a Thousand Posts make Gold while others with FIVE THOUSAND or ELEVEN THOUSAND loiter at Silver.  Does the country issuing a Passport make a difference?
