Jamar... you judge me to hard. and after i was thinkng we are so good friends!! my account is not fake and i am a real owner of a 1977 super special mini. Just ask Mr. Alec Issigonads.

And i wont be getting to car crash any time close so you doont need to worry there. But I willl be zooming much smoother now with my engine making cat purrs from all of the detergint. you will see. maybe i make a video like you do always and show how much smooth it is..... lol

but dont worry this time i keep the phone on the side so it will not make you mad...... lol

I'd never seen a servo used on a clucth system, made it drivable for the car owner. Just an idea besides the Verto conversion.

Kind of a novel idea.

Just a thought.

The 90's Nissan 300 ZX Turbo 5 speed cars had them. I pressed the clutch in one day and heard a hissing noise then realized the clutch servo had failed. Mustang GT's with a 5 speed could have used one with their heavy clutch.

Check your email.

Careful!  There are now THREE competing personalities for Rooster!!  It may be time to do some detective work!  Watch it turn out to be "The Stig"!

So is it "robster", "rodster", "roloster", or just "Quicksilver"?  I am again suspicious of the spelling being "too correct"!  I am also a bit baffled after all the complaints that so many people still read and comment!

Us humans just can't pass a bad accident without looking!

tinsmith thank you for kindness. see i know you were a friend after all..... lol.  I will take your advices and try puting some detergant inmy oil tonight. i bet my oil is cleaner than anyone with a mini and my idles are even smoother.

One question... does it matter if it is detergant for washing dishes or the ones for washing my pants?

probably better to use the one for pants for it can already get out poopoo stains much better for oils.

PS: Am I seeing multiple personalities - robster and roloster?

Depends where you are reading Terry. Pacific Luke is another one he uses.

Nice to see you are putting a full days work in for a full days pay Rooster.

turbodan i watched your youtubes, it is okay to lose so many because winning is not everything.  If you wanted to be winning races instead of losing them i could help a lot but that means an open mind and a little faster on the clutch, works for me and have the trophies to show for it...

..but yeah i hear you on the oil thickness part, just want to say be willing experiment to do things differently and you will win more, that is the idea of progress after all.i dont get your suggestion to use "snake oil" but you should try a different brand.  Never heard of it myself.

im so happy with the result... i told you guys, do not box yourself , dream, explore , experiment and discover... dont just sit there... now i have the best running mini ever...

Yes, your dollar general snake oil sounds like the "fix all" for everything... Can't have been the crappy thin oil that was in there before compared the to 20/50 you put in, nope. It was the secret 99c ingredients in that secret lotion potion that fixed it. Makes you wonder why main dealers don't sell that stuff, or why OEM's don't put a "reccomended" tag in the handbook, like manufacturers of washing machines and dishwashers do to their "favourite" kind of detergent.

Excellent advise. We are at your mercy, and have much to learn.

Yes, yes you do. I for one am going to get some mis-matched plug leads and a "works" Momo air flter. The rest of you losers need to heed this guru's advice....

It's been fun, but this place is done. I have no hatred, and appreciate the good times. But this place now belongs to Tony and his pink mini.

Damn, I got sucked in.
