Wow, wish I had been here to enjoy all this back in the day, sounds most entertaining
It was real riot and I thought all in good fun but of course some had to take it personal and get bent out of shape - lol

From the on-line Webster Dictionary...which I think is the US language one. So Alex is maybe just using it in the "annoying person" meaning.
It's not even a mini pic
twat /'tw??t/ noun

"WET COOPER", Partsguy1 (Terry Snell of Penticton BC ) - Could you send the money for the unpaid parts and court fees.

As a long-time moustache bearer (40 years+) I do not find the thread header offensive. He did spell it "Hair" and correctly for the Triumph bonnet shown. Further he menioned a fracas of the past, but did not specify. It was the imagination of others that took them of in some misguided direction. The nastiest thread I can recall was related to health care (I decline to say its name). I do recall some of the furor over the other thead, which would have or at least should have ued the word "Hare". THAT was politically/ socially insensitive.
Lighten up and wish TurbDave a Happy 65th Birthday, and the rest of our American friend a Happy Thanksgivng.
Don't think Dave is anywhere near that age and if he is he is aging well, but Steve Coopertune is 67 Happy b'day Steve.
The thread should be called Ned Flanders right Zippy.
If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.
Give a car more power and it goes faster on the straights,
make a car lighter and it's faster everywhere. Colin Chapman.

See, Movember would have been a much better thread title, but no, you had to dig up a distasteful old topic and prove that you are still a twat.
Sorry Alex, I don't kowtow to what you think is appropriate.
You'll get over it. Again.
By the way is caling another forum member a "twat" an appropriate use of word on an online forum visited by all ages?

The last person to mention this was Barnhills several years ago, and he was shamed into stopping and deleting due to the connotations with facially disfigured children.
One chance QS - prove that you're not the insensitive pot-stirrer that you used to be, by not reposting whatever it was in your initial post, and letting this thread die.
Hi Alex, as you know I don't consider you as someone whose moral compass I have any regards for so I would have to deny your request. If the admins, of which there is one and you're not, find my post distastesful and in violation of the TOS of this fora then they have powers to remove my post and to banish me if necessary.
Good day

Sir Al, you acknoledgement of this thread soothes me greatly. Why, if an eminent person like you refuses to participate then that means it's a worthy thread
Where are the rest of the old timers?

Hey Doug, Al and Paul you too QS. I think the hair lip mini pre dates QS by quite awhile. His only knowledge of it must be from history.
I'm glad just about every body will be eating well tomorrow. It's also my 65th birthday 11/27/49. While walking the dogs in the rain last night I was thinking, I was born on the corner of 50th and Huntington, Ave. married at the corner of 55th and Huntington, Ave. And I live at the corner of 53rd. and Huntington, Ave. Considering all the places I have been it's still a small world. Steve (CTR)
I was here but that doesn't matter. It made for a good laugh and education on Minis.
