Our 1st Mini built for my younger son...purchased the '76 Mini 1000 in 1991, rebuilt, repowered and on the road summer 1993.

Broken nose, ten stitches on eylid/brow, bruised ribs and a perfect bruise imprint of the seatbelt across my chest. Luckily no passenger, as their legs would have been crushed by the clutch housing that was now occupying that space.

I can't get over the fact that I can fit 17 years worth of engineering drawings on something the size of a half stick of gum. (thumbdrive)
In my pencil 'n paper days, that would have been an entire room full of flat files.

While visiting my dad ( he is 92 and requires a little help ) I found a few pictures of my first mini back in the day. I did not bring them home and I did not have my new camera. I'm sure there are ones who will be glad to hear I have moved beyond floppys. Thanks to all who have been sending me their old floppys over the years. Cleaning up the shop I have found 500 floppys with 30 plus pics each.
I'm going to try and take a picture of a picture and get it posted here. I bought my first mini 46 years ago but these picture were taken two years into ownership. I'd like to see other's first mini pics if you like. Steve (CTR)

My first MINI, a 77....after about a year of ownership and after a tree didn't get out of my way. This was about 1983

Surely you know someone that has a scanner..... You can't hardly buy a printer that doesn't have that feature. It'll do a much better job of copying the photo.
