+1 for Dave Hubbard if you're looking for a new build.

Amazing work, your crank will look like an art piece. They know minis.
I have a 65 Elf. I know several builders, including premier engine builder Dave Hubbard.

I'm in San Diego (Escondido). If I'm local to you, drop me a line and let's talk about what you're looking for out of a 1275 and if I have something that might work for you. I've got motors in pieces and I've got a couple of assembled ones.

I'm in socal too. Yo mike the 1963 cooper I picked up in LA was cared for by this auto shop that sells 1380 newly rebuilt with tranny and installed for under $5k I'm sure he can give it to you for less if you just decide to just "buy" it. I can give you their number. pM me.

I'm in Southern California and looking for a 1275 engine. Does anyone have one they'd like to get rid of? I just pulled the 998 out of my 69 Riley so I'm considering going with the 1275 or possibly building up the 998.

Also, if anyone can recommend a local machine shop that would be nice too.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
