I'm getting ready to buy everything I need to rebuild my motor and I'm sort of at an impass on a few things.

I've got a used 1275 Metro block that didn't seem to have any issues. I have a brand new crank and a new camshaft going in. Should I just buy standard bearings for both, or is there a way that I can be certain I get the right ones the first time?Seems that I should be able to buy standard size bearings and all is good to go. Same goes for thrust washers. I really don't want to waste money by ordering a set that's going to be the wrong size.

Aside from bearings, water and oil freeze plugs, and the regular gaskets, is there anything that you experienced builders would recommend that I buy to replace while I'm in there? I'm replacing everything with new.
