jsray84.. I imported 32 classic minis from NZ back about 12 years ago.. from . lizi reese. I think she is  still in christchurch.. nz.. email be off line and will give you her phone number there..

no link to classic mini?? btw..  I had car rejected because it did NOT have the original headlights this week.. CBP awful fussy these days.  NO  more RHD to LHD swap..  engine MUST be OEM. ect.. everything must match..vin and engine numbers  even the reg /TAG..  on foreign title..  ( update. I got permit from CBP to have someone remove the NON DOT headlights.. had to move to bonded wareshouse with BONDED truck..( NOT CHEAP)

Thanks for the help guys. The reason i'm looking into this is because Minis are cheap as chips in New Zealand. The link below is just 1 example. That's around $3000 USD at the current exchange rate. So if I could import it, I might be able to make a profit.

Older than that if you are planning to bring it into California.

Hi, Im an American living in New Zealand. I'm thinking of buying a Classic Mini driving for a while and then having it shipped to the States and then potentially selling it once I get there, hopefully for a profit. What is the average value of a classic mini in average condition, with minimal rust (they don't salt the roads here)? Is there a certain model or year that fetches a higher price? Would it be worth getting a fuel injected 'Classic Mini' built in the '90s?
