You say "you'll notice the fresh diesel fuel will turn blackish tar, that's all the carbon deposit over time... yawk!! Please enlighten us as to how carbon gets into the transmission and oil galleries of the engine.

for the record, guys , especially the newbies, pls use your own judgment, i share facts base on my experience. my experience may or may not be beneficial to you. im the kind who always wants to experiment, before i believe in theories, i have to experiment and prove it myself.
again, use your own judgement.

tip: you you have and old classic mini and you want to clean the inside of the motor but do not want to take it apart, basically you want to do an aggressive engine flush.
what i did: i let the car sit in the garage for 2 days, i then drained the oil, put the drain plug back and pour 5 liters of diesel fuel. i turn the engine on for 2 minutes, DO NOT REV IT !!!, turn off the engine and let it sit for 24hrs.,, after 24hrs, turn the engine on for 3 minutes and drain the diesel fuel., flush the inside the engine with pressurized air, use compressor if you have one. get some el cheapo motor oil from 99 cents(5 liters) pour it inside the engine then drive the car for 10 miles.,...drain the cheap motor oil then pour some 5 liter good quality motor oil.,,then you're good to go.
Just to cut thru the clutter that this post will become:
In case you are a newbie reading this, please understand that NONE of the regular, experienced posters on (or staff from) Minimania would ever reccomend using diesel as an engine oil flush for your classic mini. Please treat any such advise (or similar) with extreme caution and seek inputs from alternate seasoned, experienced individuals that you can find 24hrs a day on this forum.
End.
It's been fun, but this place is done. I have no hatred, and appreciate the good times. But this place now belongs to Tony and his pink mini.

engines moving parts are made up of 90% steele, a snake oil or any diesel fuel cannot destroy steel, a saw or a drill can destroy steel.
snake oil can clean steele but it can never destroy it.
Wrong again. if it was 90% steel, then the remaining 19% is not steel. It includes other metals and non-metals, which could very well be destroyed or dissolved by the diesel fuel.

Umm, no! Much better for your Mini to leave the sludge in! It will make some new noises soon if you drive it with diesel in the gearbox! Might as well just leave the cheapo motor oil in till the end!
Please, some of you.... keep your wits about you! Your opponent is largely unarmed. And we've been doing so well....
I'd suggest that it would have been much better for you to just delete the sludge (this blatant attempt at starting trouble) instead of replying to it and playing along.*
There will indeed be some new noises, none of them pleasant, despite your appeal to play nicely with the retard.
*I know that the moderators of the MM board have access to IP addresses, which also means that you know who it is who is doing the chain yanking. I'm fairly sure we all agree that Boison isn't Robster, my money is on it being Willie.

Tell me, will you feel any remorse if some poor unsuspecting soul destroys their engine and transmission following one of your snake oil schemes, costing them thousands of dollars ? Which half assed notion will you peddle next Numpty ? Or bobo if you prefer. We're waiting......

again, this is an aggressive engine flushing...kids don't try this at home., ..only for professional.
