someone said " if im going to hell, im going with a moke"  omg,  another moke hater.... Count me in.  If you want to know my opinion about mokes??  Straight forward i'd say i dont like it.   First, it looks like a senior citizens  modified golf cart that goes around RV parks,  second the shape and style doesnt look serious, it looks like a childs plastic jeep running with 6volts motor bought from toys r us.  Lastly, it doesnt posses any exciting history unlike the classic minis.,, its just moke came out from nowhere, a military vehicle reject.   Thats my opinion.
Wrong again special boy. How uninformed you are for the "specialist" you claim to be.
As you like the internet so much for your information check out the Coke Moke it should be there. In case you don't find anything it was entered in the London to Sydney rally and driven from London UK to Sydney Australia and it completed the rally which is a lot better than some other more substantial vehicles did.

For a "specialist" you sure do edit a lot of your posts.

If in doubt, flat out . Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.

Hahaha, hmmmm well well well, somebody is trying to invade my "little privacy" i see...
Well he said he is happy with his vtec, im sure he is happy with his own "standards" by which his standards didnt pass in other true blue vtec owner's standards, you cant just slap a 500 buck used high mileage vtec in your mini and call it a vtec mini...seeeesh!
And with all honesty putting together wheels and tires with his bare hands freaks me out.  And he does it with steelies?? Wow good luck!    Maybe he is referring to his bmx bike wheels.
I think his secret technique is to lubricate the wheels with his own saliva. Lol

oh and he calls me a "foreigner f***"
Its a clear "R" remark...
you hit me with my pry bar technique then when i hit you with your "hand job" technique you started to squeel,, lol gosh!

Aaaanyway!

you made me miss my mommmy..lol

You really are a f***ing idiot....

Do you know how easily a f***ing 10 inch tire slides onto a set of mini lites or golf cart wheels,or the steel spare? Yokohomo or falkens both? Ive done them all with very very little effort whatsoever. As well as Jr. Dragster slicks which an 8 year old boy could manage or some dumb ass foreign f***

So,go f*** yourself .You don't do anything whatsoever aside from spread useless info which you know nothing about...most of the time none of,it makes sense to where the whole forum has to tell you to shut up.

You're even worse then the other clowns to cry about the vtec swap and they know NOTHING about.I built my car...I made changes,I corrected issues ...I didnt just sit and read what other people said and agree...I disagreed and went against what MOST have said and now im happier then I ever was with this car and it is NOTHING like what anyone had said because they were all a bunch of know it alls like you and liked seeking attention and trying to talk about stuff they were clueless to.

Take your little soft b**** hands out and use common sense and give it a go with soapy water...youd be amazed how easy they go on.

Almost like spitting on it before sticking it in.Works wonders!!!!

....and if you dont want anything to "touch" your wheels, then drive with  flat tire... Simple !!

....and oh, some "superman" do the tire changing by his own bare hands,  wow! he should be in the Guiness book of world's best R*dneck innovations..... i can probably put together with ease a 10 inch wheel in a 13 inch tire.

Mommy, mommy look !! i can crack open a coconut with my bare teeth, how bout that?  LOL!

my new mantra :   I was once young and stupid......although i don't live in the east coast..lol

..So me and wifey went to Scottsdale az, what an awsome place, malls and delicious restaurants are everywhere, a lot of nice beautiful girls around.   No wonder the Barret Jackson auction is being held in that place, scottsdale people are fond of classic cars
From yuma az to phoenix the highway is ok, but during summer if your car stall in those area you'd be dead. , i wonder how that guy from meza arizona even surviving the heat when he drives to caifornia, or maybe he pass by I-10.

Im kinda pissed and i dont want to keep it to my self, so please i want to rant a little,  my mini seat post bolt has lost it's thread, so now its moving sideways whenever i turn, i realy dont know why issigonis even bolt it together instead of welding it permanently, i mean do you even need to remove the bolt? For what?  The only bolt that is needed is between the seat post and the seat NOT from seat post to the body. So, this weekend im going to weld them all to the flooring. I dont care.
The  seat holder has bolt while the radiator does not have a drain plug,, And there are three ashtrays inside a mini,  figure that out!!!  Was there already poppy seeds back in the days that people lost their ability to make better decisions? Jizzz

but the drain plug-less radiator is still the no.1 in the list.

.... I think i am much safer here in my little space than out there...ill be staying here for a while since nobody reads or even visits this thread.  Good, this is where i will post my intelligence...watch out, ill be posting some videos in the succeeding days....and prove that i really own a mini..

DM has finally succeeded...............in brainwashing,,, aaanyway!

Alex replied but intentionally ignoring the recent post..... In court, it's call the theory of conspiracy and in psychology, its called Silent Sarcasm..............

i guess some individuals were secretly emailing each other....

im still trying to discover some pieces of evidence of conspiracy,, anyway.

up to now i'm still shocked.

happy now my detractors??

johnie, Why don't you just hire some people there in UK to disassemble the race car and ship them to US as parts?? it may take few boxes of parts but it can get in legally, and just assemble them here. i have shipped 2 hayabusa to my country several years ago, i disassemble them and ship the boxes several days apart. the customs cannot slap you with enormous amount of tax because it is not categorized as driveable vehicle, they are parts only, they are free to open the box and inspect, they won't see any car inside. again, money is not the issue here, it's their LAWS that were too strict.,, i find it so inhumane when the car is already in the US and they(customs) will decline it and tells you to ship it back...this ruins my day,

Why do i have this feeling of insult everytime i or anybody would post a problem then someone suddenly pops in and ask if he has a Haynes manual???, im like !! Omg The reason why i get into forums is to get solutuons to the problem quick, dont get me to wear my reading  glasses ang scan pages in the middle of my fix where my hands are all smeared with grease ,,, jeeeeez!!!!  And dont tell newbies or anyone to use search button to look for past discussions, its just so unfriendly to say that imo, if you know the solution then spit it out and help.... I admit , im naughtly at times but im particular with forum etiquettes..

Just an observation....

....see?? even the vin was tampered accdg to TTW, this little half mini is no good, it will give you dilema more than joy. and especially if you are going to drive it in California where rules are very strict, people are not even allowed to fart in public in accordance to the Clean Air Act of 2017.

btw,good catch TTW..

Beanie, before you shell out enormous amount of money on that little half mini, have a self assesment, if you really really want it, what use does it have for you, compared to the headache of importing this  nice car,  although TTW is willing to help you innvolving dearly amount of money, still ,, if you are to look for a beat up mini here in the US and have some legitimate people to slice the mini for you and copy the one you want, it can be done easily.  BUT if money is not an issue , go ahead.
Best of luck!

In connection to MLM's problem.:   I dont exhaust thinking why and how a tach can even affect the performance of an engine(????)   And also a mis-wired coil will NOT allow a car to run not only at high rpm(4k) but also at low rpm.   I dunno what pink wire he's talking about(???).
And also a mis-wired tacho will make a car run bad at high rpm??? Reallly????

I think someone is loosing his magic touch...

and also someone is having a huuuge problem as to where to put his spare wheel , at the cargo area or behind the seat??? On his toy tamia?? I was like, really omg, his problem is so BIG, maybe a life and death situation....WHILE MLM is pulling his hair (or wig) because he can't even get his mini to run past 4krpm..

...so i went to see a movie yesterday, and i saw this guy, makes me smile and almost laugh, he gets inside his Classic car and he closes the door using his two hands...i was laughing,,, WHY all classic cars need two hands to close from the inside., one hand to pull and the other hand to tilt the door up because it has drooped due to rusted hinges..i remember a friend who used to open his car from the inside using the outside door opener. ...

just an observation...i love my mini btw

Im at starbux,, funny there's a father and daughter looking at my mini and arguing, the daughter keeps on asking what car is it and even the dad doesnt know what It is, and the daughter said i want one dad!!  The dad is about 60yo...i dont want to talk to them tho because they won't understand my horrible accent anyway..
Classic mini is nice to look at but owning one entails a lot of dedication, love and tlc if you want it to run excellent. Otherwise it will leave you stranded in the middle or side of the road if you take it 4granted.
And now, as i write this, there's this dad and two sons looking inside the mini.  Hasay, Youngsters nowadays dont have  any idea what car is this, where can they find a car like our mini which drives 110mph downhill with a storm behind you and  drives 5mph going uphill with the gas pedal squeezed down to the floor...?? Only our minis !! And im proud of it... Love my mini to death!

but up to now i keep on thinking day and night HOW can " someone" drive his stock 850cc mini 75mph in the highway???  Is this another political bluff??  Aaanyway...

i hate when people change lane when they see me in traffic light... I feel very insulted....im very very offended.
