I really really really should have bought this from you.

The now-stripped interior was throwing me...

CA

Yep, thats it- I sold it to a buyer in Friensworth TX 3-4 years ago- He sold it in California-It was gutted, kitchen/Bedroom/wash room/cupboards all stipped out-Looks like a bowling alley in there now- I heard they are asking something north of $30K's-I guess l should have kept both of them-

Bring a Trailer

1963 BMC Competition Department Team Bus

This 1963 BMC transporter has been for sale for some time but is just now being publicized as we near the Monterey Weekend. The seller claims that this is one of two such units remaining in the USA that were custom styled by Pininfarina, and that this one was used on the MG stand at the 1964 Chicago Auto Show. Find it here on Craigslist in Ventura, California. We don’t usually like featuring vehicles without stated prices, but we’ll make an exception for this one! Special thanks to BaT reader Jeff B. for this update!

The rig has interesting tail fins and an upgraded diesel engine. It runs and drives but is unrestored with apparent patina. The hope is that it could be used as a tow vehicle or paddock fixture.
The seller also links to these interesting vintage photos of similar BMC support vehicles.

Didn't Al's have a complete interior? This one appears to have been gutted and carpeted.
