I will have at CMU 53

TWO of my personally crafted - Classic Mini specific / period looking - Heavy Duty Roof racks for sale.

So - if your tired of getting over loaded inside your mini - or need abiltiy to carry those few extra parts - Check out my roof rack. My friend Ben says its the only way he can enjoy his mini, and take the baby and all her stuff on the same ride together!

I have custom built both of these racks, in my garage - The Rack on MY Red car is my FIRST VERSION.  Slightly larger than the rack on the Beige car and have some small differences.

Beige Car rack is Version 2 - I Used thinner wood for slats (lighter) and I think just looks a bit better. They both fit and function the same.

My design uses 4 clamps at each post for a super secure rack to the rails.

Wood slats are Oak hardwod for Longevity - then Sanded Stained and Cleared with gloss UV resistant marine grade Urathane. All fasteners are stainless steel. I wish I could have powdercoated the frame, but curently they are simply painted with heavy duty enamel so anyone could re paint if wanted at any time.

I even was able to adapt my own bicycle holder to bolt to this roof rack and I can carry bicycles and Stuff together.

If interested in purchasing - See / find either of our cars at CMU !

$400 - Each

Justin Handy = Red Car   434-229-7512 Cell

Ben Howell - Beige(mustard) Car - Call Above.

Link to all photos - both racks on each individual car.

Looks like I will be trailering the mini down this time again. I was thinking of loading up some parts to bring and sell. I just need to go out to see if anything is worth taking down. I will bring a couple restored mk1 heaters with me. Hopefully I will have the woody wagon done by the next mini event, and I will drive it.

I think the picture sets the tone for the event. It's now being passed around on Face Book from our CMU FB page. I was with the "entertainment" yesterday that will be performing Friday night before the movie.... Get ready to sing, this is going to be fun, CMU style!

It's not to late to register, we just charge you the HUGE late fee, $5.
