Please tell these creeps how much you sent for shipping a 1275 700 miles.  I never refused to ship your engine. Every shipping company I called or emailed refused to ship your engine.I told you to find the company that will do it for the amount you sent. You wanted me to pay for the shipping and you would send me the differance. You told me twice you where comming to get it yourself. I took two half days of work. Who pays for that?  I would go to court for this. Maybe Spitz will pay for your shipping.

Take the guy to court! ( although still doesn't always ensure the scum with follow through )

Nothing worse than a low life, bottom feeding thief...whether you send them money and get no part...or send the parts and get no payment...both is theft

Ordered so by a Judge

In Florida decent running lower mileage 1275's (guaranteed) bring around $1200, unknown but said to run around $500 to $700, rebuildable around $300. You used to be able to get a guaranteed one for around $600 to $700 but that was about three years ago, just supply and demand.

Strange, I recently could not sell a complete 1275/4spd with everything complete as taken from a running driving car that I drove around my neighborhood. Had it on ebay 3X!!!! and it did not sell, Asking price, 300 quid, I guess it was more than it was worth, kinda scary, 998s went for 40-60 quid when I had them, this is going back over a year. Folks want something for nothing, its how it is, Now if I was trying to buy one I bet it would take 400-500 quid to get a decent runner if one was available. You never see 1275 engines for sale anymore, Well unless they are rusted hunks of crap with the obligatory "head taken off for inspection" which over here means head taken off for blown head gasket then left out in the rain. OR the spray bomb rebuilds that some guy sells on the bay for insane money, Lots to pay for a chrome rocker cover and some new plug wires and a can of rustoleum. If your selling they are a dime a dozen, if your buying they are rare as hens teeth,

Peter

Nothing is so bad that you can't make it worse by doing something rash or going berserk.

If there's anyone local to San Diego, come pick this one up.

Consider it a complete core for rebuild.

"the game is over; i've bought both units.

herman"

Normally, this would be the end to this controversial thread- A proven , repected buyer, stating he bought the units- But , no, the vendor, indicates they are still for sale at a fixed price of $750.00 each-

So now, we are left in a void, are they sold ??

Herman, please step up and clarify this mess-

Congrats to buyer and seller. Herman, I am sure you know it but $1k is a steal for MG Metro powerplants - thumbs up.

Probaby "Ricky Deason" aka Bill Cox emailing you.   Lots of his and other sock puppets trolling about here.  HTFU and ignore them.  Good luck with your sale!!

I still have $450 for every complete running 1275 w/trans anyone can bring me. I'll take a truck load please. oh "Cash Deal" of coarse. Sorry I didn't mean to offend everyone. Just 6 or 7 of you. Again I'm sorry to the rest of you Joes.
