Most of the parts I order from the UK actually arrive before the domestic suppliers can deliver to me. Shipping is just more expensive and I know how parsimonious you are.

If you do buy the cable alex posted, don't put grease or oil in it at all. You'll risk damaging the Teflon coating that you're already paying extra for. If it does begin to bind on you, use graphite.

Robster, if you read my post, I already told you that dry lubricant like graphite works best. Source: I've been using draphite on sleeved cale since I was 8 years old and it's worked every time. never had an issue.

Great, that is one thing to cross off the list. Could be the grease in the cable got over-heated because it goes close to the exhaust and pooled in the lowest part and when it cooled it got harder. When grease cooks it will cool harder than it was before. Clean the cable and use a very light oil on it a small amount.

wow i really didnt realize that these things is possible, im learning everyday really. i didnt realize that the throttle cable can take the electrical impulse and possibly fry the inside and upset the smooth operation, can i use white lithium grease? or which lubricant would u recomend?  2 weeks ago i put moly grease inside works smooth at first but now its giving me crap again, honestly im willing to remove and clean the cable, i just want know which proper oil or grease to put.

wil, the ground cable is secured properly , i recently took it off and sand paper the connections.

thanks all

Robster, This is something that we told you would happen. We said eventually your throttle cable would go bad (rapidly fail) because you are lubricating with the wrong thing. You need to be using a dry lubrication like graphite or something similar. But I doubt you will heed this advice either.

I've used a bicycle brake cable with good results. But you might want to find out why its happening. Make sure you have a good ground from the engine to the body. That's prolly one of the main reasons for the symptoms you described

Check your engine grounding strap. If it does not have good clean connections on both ends then the throttle cable takes it's place to ground the engine. The cable is too small to handle the load and heats up and sticks.
