Fiberglass Panels for MGB & MGB GT

How much do your Sebring flares push the side out. I ask because I'm fitting the independent rear suspension from an RX8 into my MGB and its width hub to hub is 6" wider overall (3" per side)than the stock rear axle and if i can avoid having to narrow it that would be great .

Hello. This is a good question. Unfortunately since they are made to order I don't have any here to measure right now. You might ask around on some MGB forums as they are quite popular.

Question:
Can't wait to install my fenders and hood!!! They look great! What is your suggested way of mounting them? Bond them to metal with 3M automotive panel adhesive (corvette adhesive comes to mind, too) or bolt them on? I can fab a metal strip that takes the pressure off the fiberglass and evenly distributes to prevent cracking. Any suggestion for best practices much appreciated. '75 MGB roadster.

Typically they are bonded to standoffs using panel adhesive. Although no related to MGs at all, Tim Mcamis Racing has some youtube videos that I have found helpful for mounting body panels to racecars that might give you some ideas.
