This is a 1968 Austin Mini (MK II) recently imported and registered in Colorado. I have the clean title in hand. It recently underwent an engine rebuild. The believed-to-be original engine was disassembled and over bored to a 1293cc with new internals. Engine is still being broken in and will need another 1,000 miles to be fully broken in. A new alternator was also installed and the whole engine bay deep cleaned when the engine was out. I have only put non-ethanol gas through it with lead additive. It starts right up and idles well. Driven about 175 miles since rebuild. Brand new battery installed 3-March.
The overall body is very clean and has minimal bubbles in the paint. BRG with cream stripes and roof. I believe this is the original paint (but can't say for sure) and has held up very well over time. It has 13" "Minilite" wheels and the original exhaust.
The interior is in great shape and has a cool design. The shift knob is missing - I was going to get one but since life is making me sell it I figured the buyer would want to get their own design.
This car runs great and I'm sad I have to get rid of it so soon. It will provide man smiles per gallon to the person who decides to buy it.
