I am not supposed to stream videos at work... but I looked at a few frames of the video anyway. It was exactly as I was expecting.
I can confirm that as shown in the video the inexpensive wheels sold all over eBay are very, very, weak items. Three years ago I bought one for our Spitfire project. It looked great but it was obviously flimsy. A friend of mine building a Chump Car TR6 liked the looks and cost so he bought one along with a cheap quick release hub. During their first race the team managed to break all the spokes of the steering wheel rim and the quick release was a difficult to use, loose piece of junk. I immediately removed the eBay wheel from our Spitfire and put on a Racemark wheel instead.
This really is a case of you get what you pay for. Though the cheap eBay wheels look good, worse than being junk, they are potentially quite dangerous.
