No kit, just a standard fibreflass front end, with the fibreglass Wood & Pickett arches and a fibreglass front air dam, all bonded in.

I just bought a pair of the abs. They are nice and flexible and look easy\ier to fit.

I bought the "originals" from W&, found them hard to install, the rubber trim has a tendency to fly off a speed, and you WILL scratch the hell out of your paint job while installing. I resorted to gluing a piece of plastic on the inside in a couple of places and screwing through the body from the inside to these pieces to bring the arch back to the body. Ended up taking them off and selling them. They do look great when installed and I have seen the front ones on the back and many other combinations. It would be nice for the $$$ spent if they were marked "front left" and so on. Maybe if I paint the car I'll try them again or go to the abs, they seem to be 1/10 the trouble to install

I have installed a half-dozen sets of the ABS ones and they fit great out of the box and need no prep for paint (other than adhesion promoter for the ABS)

Well, the description said "GENUINE WOOD & PICKETT WHEEL ARCH FLARE KIT- MINI COOPER" so I assume they're the more expensive one's. I jumped on them during the sale since they were a good price.

Not sure where MM gets there arches from but i have heard the genuine w&p arches are good but being good they are more expensive. I fitted some abs ones to a car and they were easy to work with and looked good but they did have a textured finish which is not a problem if you are leaving them black.

I've wanted them for a long time and ordered them from our host's post xmas sale. Well, after getting all the xmas decorations put away I finally got a look at them and I'm alittle concerned.
I got the fiberglass arches and it looks like I'd have to do some major bondo and sanding work to get them to look decent. Scratches, resin lumps on the surface and a lot of rough areas on all the arches. Some are where they shaped the arch and some are from the mold itself and quite deep.
Before I call Don and crew I have a few questions for the forum. Anyone have experience with these fiberglass arches and is this quality normal or did I get a crappy set? If it's a quality issue then are the Wood and Pickett ABS arches any better quality?
I'm looking at just putting them on and go, not blending them into the body or having to paint them as I'm leaving them black. Not interested in the arches that have the screws on the outside that's why I want the Wood and Pickett design so I've got a narrow selection.
I wanted the fiberglass arches for the durability aspect but if the ABS ones are better quality then I may just want to return these and order them instead.
Any experiences out there?
thx for your help. dan
