So I wondered if any one had any feedback or experience with this 2 post lift, it sounds like it's a great deal for what you get, or should I consider a 4 post one instead for my garage.

Hi-  I have a Direct Lift Pro Park purchased from Greg Smith Equipment Sales.  It's a four post lift 110v lift.  Direct Lift is the offshore (China made) brand of Rotary Lift.  I work for Dover Corp, which owns Rotary, in a different division... I bought it figuring if Dover doesn't kill me at work, it can kill me at home with a cheap chinese lift... but neither has happened yet.  For a less than $2k lift, it's really very nice.  Shame they don't offer an employee discount!  They make a cheaper two post lift, but I figured a drive on would be best considering my propensity towards buying rusty heaps.  -John

Too bad that the maximum capacity isn't 200 pounds higher.  Might be worth contacting the company and asking if they will make one to heavier duty specs and larger platform.  A lot of these companies started out as custom fabricators and even though they make a standard catalogue item like this, they are very happy to tweak the specs to meet the customer's needs.

Maybe the following link is a better idea.  I'd like to try this design, but a bit larger and heavy duty.  Perhaps with an ability to fold up against the wall when not in use.

Has anyone ever seen something like this in use?

I found this while dreaming of the perfect garage tonight.  Looks like it's just about perfect for stacking your Mini's in the garage.
