ToTheFloor,

I posted a link to here on the SAMOA web site. There was one response about a place in
Tacoma. May not be the one you were looking for. www.seattleminiowners.com

Have you thought about the ford/mazda unit? I have been modifying them and selling them here and there. all of my lbc's have them including the very high compression race engine. Any way i start off with a starter take it apart put the nose in the lathe and when i am done it all fits and starts every time. no wacky bendix and power to start a finicky engine. Aaron

The ones that Mania and Se7en sell are all rebuilt...not new but someone was talking about a shop in Seattle that was real good.

If SAMOA can't help you phone around to electrical shops, one of them will be old school and will be able to fix it or supply you with a rebuilt one off the shelf that has been sitting for years.
