The German market seems to have enjoyed a good sprinkling of limited edition Rover Minis. The Blue Star was announced in the early summer of 1996. In standard form it came in blue paint livery, blue leather upholstery, low profile 175/50 tyres on large 13 inch Minilite sports rims, wide German spec wheel arch extensions, Koni shock absorbers, a wood-rim steering wheel with alloy spokes, wood handbrake grip, a Yew veneered, solid wood dashboard and a Cooper 63Ps 1.3i catalysed engine.
