OK I'll pay that...I'd forgotten that the old style are not so obvious - despite having a set.  The hardest part with that style is remembering where on earth you stashed the adjuster tool....

There are several types of HiLos.  The old style requires a large allen key to be inserted into the HiLo unit from the top in the front and from the rear in the rear.  If yours are the newer style there will be a jam nut where the unit is screwed onto the strut.  If yours are newer it is really easy.  Either style requires you to jack up that corner of the car and take the load off the suspension to avoid damage to the HiLo.

Uuuummm do you have HiLOs fitted??  If you looked to check you would see how they are adjusted.

I could see how to adjust the Spax shocks. Easy enough.. However to heighten the car, how would I adjust my Hi Lo suspension? What kind of tools and is this a job for a proper mechanic?

The first time I encountered this ride height issue I decided to install a set of Hi-Lo's from SRacer.  That would have fixed the problem if it had not turned out that my rear subframe was broken.

You could have serious issues. A little more detail would help in solving the problem, like whether you have hydrolastic suspension or rubber cones? Pictures are good.

Should be a screw on the side at the bottom to change the damping. Right increases damping. You should eventually feel a click. I have mine at 4 clicks for street use. When I autoXed I turned all the way, 14 or so clicks. If you mean lengthened by "raised", it can't be done with shocks. To "raise" the ride height you need to lengthen the suspension struts.

Hello All, im not quite sure which Spax shocks I have however they are set too low and I would like to have them raised. Does anyone have any experience with this?Thanks in advance
