Status of Moke in Texas.  As far as I know, the car is almost sold to a party in Chicago.  The buyer is going to send a certified check to the seller after he receives a copy of the title.  The seller originally said the he only had a Bill of Sale BUT...... he was able to locate the title a couple of days after rummaging through his deceased relative's paperwork.  This moke you can really classify as a barn find.  The owner had numerous motorcycles and vintage cars stored in his shed.  Two of the cars were a Lotus 7 and a BMW Isetta 600.  The seller is an older gent who keeps his promise.  He was offered more money for the moke by the 2nd party who contacted him.  The moke has some mechanical issue.  The wheels on the front will not turn.  Maybe the front drums are frozen or something is wrong with the transmission.  The seller will discount the selling price by $500 in the event the problem is transmission related!  Go figure, the lucky person might get this moke for $1500 but there might be bad JUJU that comes with the moke.  The original owner was..............

That and the ones who never list a phone number ????? If you want to sell it list it and take it down when sold.

Spoke to the owner as well as the person taking care of the property where the cars are located.  2 people have said they will purchase the moke.  I from Chicago and the other potential buyer from Massachusettes.  I am third in line.
