Cylinder pressure has nothing to do with oil pressure. It depends on the static compression ratio and the duration of the cam PLUS the sealing of the rings and valves. 205psi is a high number indicating a high static CR and/or not a long duration cam. For comparison I get 175psi on a somewhat stock Cooper S 1275 with a 260ish duration cam. I would imagine your motor requires high test gas .... to prevent detonation.

I am not seeing those numbers. I read those. I plan check to some pressures this weekend.

You are not actually seeing 20 psi at idle, hot; are you? You only saw comments about that?
Otherwise, those numbers seem fine.

I'm running a 1275 bored to 1302.Have no idea what's in the engine (Pistons, cams) My cylinder compressions have come out 202-205 across all four cylinders (if that matters). I've done some searching and have seen oil pressure comments as low as 20 psi at idle. 75-90 cold/start up, 50-60 running on hot engine at cruising speed 55-60mph. Looked in the Haynes manual, NUTTIN.... Is there a approximate number of what a good engine should be running?
Your running numbers are pretty close but idling should be a tad higher imo. Rule of thumb i heard years ago for all engines is you need at least 10 lbs of oil pressure per 1000 revs.
If in doubt, flat out. Colin Mc Rae MBE 1968-2007.
