Yes they look similar but MS's are not chrome just black finished.

The slotted part mounts on the top part of the front panel with the angled part mounting on the top side of the bumper lip under the bumper itself and the bolted end is where the light actually mounts to it, at least that is the way the MS ones sold in a set work. It is not hard when you get them tthey only fit one way.

And I think i figured out how they install on the Mini.

Would I be correct in the way I explained it in my image?

Most Mini suppliers sell the brackets you need, look for the 4 light sportspack set up used on the later models.

I can't visualize how that would fit on the front end Cup Cake.

Would you have pictures of them on your Mini?

I made these brackets out of 1/8" flat bar, stepped to fit the front valence, double thickness to stop vibration but still vibrates on a rough road. There is a commercially available version in single thickness. The lamp is a Lucas LR6.

Note I placed the brackets over the licence plate support straps to also limit vibration.

I recently purchased a used Mini and it already had 2 Wipac on it.

Now I want to add 2 extra lights but I am facing a little 'issue' with the Wipac already installed that I'd like to fix

The current Wipac lights are touching the grill and I feel like they do not point high enough

Is there a proper way to do the installation of the Wipac to make sure they do not touch the grill?

I do not like the "Rally Lamp Bar" and I'd like to install the Wipac without the need for that.

Examples of installation would be very helpfull.

Thanks
