The AHU1029 sender should fit Rene's car's gas tank but it won't work electrically.  He's looking for the transition sender that works with the pre-voltage stabilizer gauges but the later bayonet ring gas tanks.  Of course, he could use the AHU1029 sender and then fit a later gas gauge and voltage stabilizer.
