Please anyone a little help.....ok i have a base model 2007 R56 mini cooper hatch i want to upgrade the gas cap cover from the flat base model to the chrome S style fuel door i read the part on the site about them explaining how to swap a 2002 to 2006 mini cap to an upgrade to an S fuel door..so my question is can u swap a base fueldoor for a 2007 base to a Mini cooper S fuel door upgrade? If so where can i find directions at or can someone here help me out a tell me how to do it. Thanx
Hi Dave, take a look at this kit. Unfortunately, we don't provide instructions, so i might recommend you have a body shop do the swap. Not 'difficult', but it is tricky to access the clips to release the old assembly without damaging the paint....
