Randy A..wanted me to give him refund on the 998 cc engine/tranny because it was DIRTY. and his mechanic could NOT be bothered to clean it.. btw.the 998 was bench tested and still runs fine..   I saw photos of the this mokes at MME in Magog, Quebec.. when Tomm Schrumm had them for sale..  in 2000.. and this was BEFORE the barn fell in on them..    later bc

I've actually seen this Moke, and believe me, the man got hosed by Tom S when he bought it. It's as rusty as any of the Catalina Island Mokes. It has patch panels on top of patch panels. The front panel has been removed because it has been hit on one side. Read this: Not useable! He says there's a 1275 with it, but it's a 998 I delivered to him from BC. The only value in this Moke is the 4 original seats. He doesn't even have a title, as Tom never gave him one. Anyone considering this Moke needs to see it in person before handing over any cash. It's a shame he got screwed, but there's no reason for anyone else to get screwed. As with any purchase, Buyer Beware!

An ex Catalina Mini Moke has come up for sale in GA on Facebook in a group called "Mini Moke Bits & Pieces"  It looks pretty complete but the bodyshell looks like it has suffered the same rust problems that most of the other Catalina Mokes have.  However it does come with four original seats which is always a bonus.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/140112802865265    Roger
